The motion of no confidence against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government, according to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, was initiated by former army chief general Qamar Javed Bajwa and former ISI chief Lt. Gen Faiz Hameed.
In an interview with Samaa TV, the leader of the JUI-F stated that the Pakistan People’s Party was leading the movement of no confidence against the PTI government. “General Faiz Hameed approached me and advised that we will not object to your actions taken outside the system, but within it, you are free to do as you please. “I declined his offer, but when the PTI, MQM, and BAP factions disintegrated, they (generals) declared that we now hold the majority.”
Explanating his position on declining the no-confidence motion at that time, he stated, “I would have been credited with rescuing Imran Khan had I declined the no-confidence motion at that juncture.”
“General Qamar Javed Bajwa and General Faiz communicated with us concerning the vote of no confidence, and we were instructed in front of all that you must do this in this manner.”
Maulana Fazl asserted, “The events of the recent elections are not concealed from the public; however, the nature of electoral theft makes it challenging to substantiate claims with witnesses or evidence.”The election as a whole was compromised, and anecdotes abound regarding what transpired during these elections.
“We have formally rejected the elections and declared our intention to launch a movement against them,” he declared. There will be street demonstrations against election manipulation, and decisions shall not be rendered in parliament but rather in the public sphere. While all major political parties have since shifted their stances regarding election manipulation in the 2018 and recent elections, our party remains the only one to maintain the position that rigging occurred both then and now, with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz appearing to have benefited.
Additionally, he asserted that the perception exists that Nawaz Sharif has been “granted” the Lahore seat. “Because he must make an independent decision regarding whether to retain or relinquish this seat, Nawaz is hesitant to accept the government’s offer of prime minister.”
Additionally, he stated, “A disagreement of opinion exists regarding the PTI, which can be eliminated.”At the time of the forthcoming negotiations (with the PTI), the appropriate course of action will be apparent. With reservations, we will not support any political party for the position of prime minister or any other legislative office.”
“I do not consider the strategy that was implemented to establish the new government to be successful; however, if they have made that decision, they will bear responsibility for its outcomes, whether positive or negative.”

In reply to a query, he stated, “The people have voted for traitors if the establishment believes the elections were fair and transparent; otherwise, the May 9 refrain has been buried.” While valuing state institutions, their involvement in politics is puzzling. They will have our support if they adhere to the democratic system.”
He made the following prediction concerning the upcoming parliament: “This parliament will be ineffective; it lacks significance and status.” The policies and decisions of the legislature will originate from an external source. “The forthcoming parliament will be more hybrid in nature and lacking in direction than the one that existed during the PTI era,”
Regarding relations with the establishment, he stated, “Conversations with the establishment continue; however, someone must take a stand and correct the establishment when it comes to its errors. The establishment instituted the PTI government, which subsequently overthrew it.
