Mason’s son from Dadu- Spinner Amir Ali, the true example of hardwork and courage

Spinner Amir Ali from Dadu will represent Pakistan in Under-19 Cricket World Cup, 2020. Under-19 Cricket World Cup will start from Jan 17,2020 in South Africa. amir Ali is very hopeful to be a leading wicket taking bowler in upcoming Under-19 Cricket Worldcup.

Amir Ali’s journey to this big stage was never ever easy. amir Ali is the son of a mason. He belongs to a very poor family. There were no facilites available for him when he actually started playing Cricket. amir Ali always dreamed of playing Cricket for Pakistan that motivated him to came such a long way. Amir Ali started his cricketing career from PCB’s two days Under-16 Cricket Tournament in 2015. His start to the career was massive. He took 19 wickets in only 3 matches in that two days Cricket Tournament.
Amir Ali started his passion from Brothers Cricket Club. As amir Ali belonged to a very small town , there were not enough faicilites for him to play Cricket. So he had to go to distant places for playing Cricket. Amir Ali’s s family used to send him with his brother for tailoring work but his direction was always the Cricket ground. Cricket was his first priority. He only wanted to be a cricketer.

Amir Ali said that due to their family’s financial conditions, his father does masonary work whereas his brother is a tailor. When Amir Ali’s father saw his son’s dedication towards Cricket he supported his son in playing Cricket. He advised him to leave everything and pay full attention to Cricket.

In PCB’s three days Cricket Tournament 2016, 17 years young spinner Amir Ali took 19 wickets in four matches. He was also the leading wicket taker for Pakistan in Under-19 One Day Cricket Tournament in South Africa. amir Ali was the pick of the bowlers in South Africa. He took 13 wickets in only 7 matches. He was successful in impressing selectors that got him his place in Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2020.

Young Spinner said that he belongs to a city where cricketing facilities are very limited, but he did not lose hope. He always has learnt to fight against difficult situations. He also said that becoming a part of Pakistan Under-19 Cricket team was no more than a blessing in disguise for him. But his aim is very high. One day he wants to play for Pakistan National Cricket Team. He said that his favourite cricketer is Srilankan Spinner Rangana Herath and he learned bowling spin by watching his videos.

Amir Ali said that his main focus now is to perform well in Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He said that by performing in that big event will open doors for him to attain his spot in Pakistan National Team. So he will do his best to make Pakistan win matches by his spin bowling.
